My hair is strong from the top and everywhere else except the widows peak. I still grow my hair well, and even manage go grow sizeable bangs up the front. I am 26, turning 27.

I am not sure if this is male pattern baldness or something else.

Your density is really really good so idek if you are balding. Has it always been like this? Lift up the hair so we can see hairline. You just have an odd head shape.

Not sure if it has always been like this but I've always had a big forehead.

In my opinion, you may be receding but it looks like it will be age appropriate. You have really good density and at 27 with this much density I dont think you will go bald in the near future. If I were you I would not get on finasteride or minoxidil right now.

Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by age appropriate receding? Stop at a certain point and remain that way?

By age appropriate hair loss I mean you are following a normal hairloss timeline. It is actually normal to lose hair as you get older. Almost every male loses hair but very few actually go bald. Lots of guys start losing hair at mid 20s and dont really go bald until they are like 60+ and I believe you will be one of those guys considering your hair thickness at 27. Or, it could just stop here and not go any further. In my opinion nobody should go on finasteride when their hair is that thick but if you see thinning anywhere beyond the hairline you should. Nobody every goes to nw6-7 with 0 diffuse thinning. Its usually all diffuse thinning or thinning in combination with receding.
