A few questions

To start off with, I want to thank the people at this site for all the useful information it has given me...thanks to you guys I started using Propecia (I hadn't previously because I thought that Rogaine and Propecia worked just the same) and I'm about to start using Nizoral (I knew I had seborrheic dermatitis for years, but my dermatologist never told me it could have anything to do with hair loss, so I kind of ignored it). I've since passed this info to some of my friends, who were very happy to learn about it.

Anyway, my questions:

1) Does long hair affect hair loss in any way? And by long hair, I mean heavy metal-type long hair. A lot of people say that it does, but a lot of people also say that baldness comes from the mother's side of the family, which is a myth. That's why I wanted to ask here instead.

2) Although my thinning is pretty slow, it hasn't stopped yet with the Rogaine and Propecia (I do have to say, however, that I have suffered from no side effects whatsoever, and that, although I can't prove it, I'm almost sure that my rate of hair loss would be much faster without them). Aside from Nizoral, I'm also about to start using the Tricomin spray. Is combining that many things ok, since they all operate on different principles? Also, I've read many different takes on how long Propecia takes to reach its full effect...do you guys know what the average is (i.e. will I have reached it after a year and a half?)

3) I see that Revivogen is a suggested product on this site, but I couldn't find any reports on FDA-supervised testing. What are the elements that make it convincing, if you guys know?

Another thing that I learned from this site is how Procerin has no scientifically proven data, which I am very thankful for. You probably know as well as me that hair loss can be very distressing and makes it very tempting to go for any solution that sounds quick and effective, so all the info you give has made me accept the fact that I should be happy if at least my thinning is slowed down!

HEY

Man this site is the best thing ever happened to me..

Well I can tell u about myself. When i got to know this website, I used to check info everyday for hours for a month.. then I started with finasteride one mg a day.. later i discovered in the site about Nizoral and started to use it. Then 5-6 months later after using nizoral for a month or so, I started noticing less hair in my hands when taking a shower. Now, I dont see any hair maan.. this thing has stopped and I am so happy. I am not even interested in using Rogaine to get regrowth. So yeah you should be happy when u reduce your hair loss at least, dont anticipate too much.. wateva improvement u get is good, and be optimistic at the same time and not obsessed with it. Sorry I couldnt talk about all your questions you raised, I leave this to the experts like Tynan( read somewhere that he quit coming to this site though..)

Good luck!
