1. After around 1 week the glue starts to feel slidy around my head. I am assuming its becsuse it is a thinner base. Does this happen to you?

2. When aplying the system, it always wants to fold back on itself. Any top tips to help combat this would be appreciated.

3. I have noticed the hairline moving back past the front layer of thinskin. Is this normal? I have been wearing for 5 months and dont expose it so not a major problem.

1. Not after a week, maybe after 10 - 14 days for me. But I only use a single layer of glue because I prefer shorter de/re times and regular cleanups. Maybe you sweat more, or maybe the glue isn't ideal? Try Ghost Bond variants - they work well for me. Also make sure you don't do any serious activity like running etc for 24 hours after bonding.

2. I don't usually have this problem but you could try rolling on the system rather than laying it flat (if that makes sense).

3. Hairs will shed... and certainly for me at least, they shed more at the hairline because I expose fully and hence tinker/re-glue/comb more at the hairline. Buy yourself some small nail scissors and snip the excess skin off, i.e. where the hairs have shed. I start doing this usually at the 3 or 4 month mark. At the 5th month I replace the system because too much hair has shed, or it has become brittle, or the colour has faded etc. The longer you try and make your old system last, the more of a shock it will be when you get a new system, because it will look so different.

In my experience, UTS looks great for 2 months but then begins a slow death that takes it to 6 months. Ideal time to replace (for me) would be 3 months, but to save on costs I stretch to 5 months, with regular maintenance and care.

FYI, these systems are normally sold as 1-2 month systems. So you should plan accordingly.

While it's great to get longevity from a system the goal is to have a consistent look. If you want more, then go for a 0.06 mm STS.
