Jude, Owen and Mathew are on the big three

makes sense, but who is mathew?

Mconnaughey, I assume. He frequently comes up on hair loss sites cause he was a VERY thin NW3 at one point and now has pretty good hair. I guess he's talked about it on talk shows too.

Actually. McConaughey swears by Regenix - he said it himself on Letterman. Take it for what it's worth (plenty of "experts" speculate that he had a transplant) but whatever it is, it looks real.

I was just watching Lucky Number Slevin. Josh Hartnett is definitely losing. But his hair looks AMAZING in that movie. You can see thinning all over, especially the crown. What a perfect hairline though...

 Maybe pot actually worsens hair loss instead of the widely accepted theory of lemon coke that it helps maintain hair.

Jk.

no, can you link me? and even if marijuana were to have any hair loss benefit at all, it's not worth it to me to kill some brain cells and f*** up my lungs. i also can't afford it.

i do smoke occasionally-maybe 3 times a year, but not for my hair. cause it's fun man.

What about the possibility that the toxicity of the drug is slowing down cell growth in the hair follicles? We know that THC manifests itself in the hair fibers, so i would think that if this manifestation is enough, that the cell growth shuts down and hairs enter a telogen(resting) phase.

nope just a theory. the study you posted is also 26 years old. it also doesn't say how long it blocks the binding for. i'd imagine for less than a day but i could be wrong. if so, smoking marijuana every day would be far worse for your lungs and everything than getting a little additional benefit for your hair from the weed.

on wikipedia when i searched Vasodilator, thc is also on the list along with minoxidil...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasodilator

i am not sure if this has anything to do with hair regrowth though

ps true that to the post above

just because something is a vasodilator doesn't mean it helps with hair. rogaine isn't effective just because it is a vasodilator.

so pot makes your eyes red.

but if thc widens the blood vessell everywhere in the body, which includes the scalp, relaxes it. wouldn't it be beneficial for the scalp?
