A day without Minoxidil

After nearly 6 months of religiously applying minoxidil (Xandrox 5%) and topical spironolactone to my hair twice a day. I finally decided to take a "day off" the shi*. I shampooed my hair with Tgel and off I went. I was BLOWN away by how much better my hair looked without the gooey crap. It was like being transported back to the pre-hairloss days - my hair felt much more stonger, softer, thicker and lighter. Life was good

I just hope that hair multiplication becomes a reality soon so this primitive stuff never has to be used again.

Having said that I am going to go apply my minoxidil now Even though I am taking finasteride I am too afraid to stop with the minoxidil. Oh well just thought I'd share my experience....

I've read on plenty of sites about minoxidil, that after about 2 years, you can go to a once day application because its regrowth power wears off to more of a maintainance phase. So if that theory holds true, you could start applying the stuff at night before bed, wash it off in the morning and then have the niceness hair for the rest of the day...

Through no choice of my own I was forced into 1 application a day for the last week.. to add insult to injury I lost the last of my final bottle yesterday so today will be my first non minoxidil day since I started.. my hair looks really limp and I'm worried about my minoxidil hairs, fingers crossed that my new supply will arrive within the next few days.

Wow thanks for that, I was so freaking out so much that I was out of control until you posted. :roll:

Just thought I'd let you guys know that my delivery worked out quite well in the end, I'm now back on the full regimen. :wink:

I don't know the FOAM actually helps style my hair. Can you believe I actually add more foam just to style before going out. I love that stuff.

Usually once a week or every other week i might miss a whole day.

Saturday i was out partying for my friends B-day so i missed everything that day lol.

I went away on holiday, to amsterdam , and missed an entire week. It's fine, don't worry, and before that for about a week I was only able to apply once a day. It's fine, no woooriiees
