hi,

so im having this problem - 1ml (of minoxidil) is just not enough to cover my entire sculp,
no matter what !

the least of the least for me is about 3ml,
so i was thinking - i have this bottle of ethanol 70% at the house (30% is water i think, it sold in pharmasies), why wont i cut the minoxidil by 2 or 3, and than, when i apply the regular 3ml, i'd get the desired ammount of minoxidil delivered (which is 5% and 10%, instead of 15% and 30%),

is this a true logic ?

my calculation is this -
they suggest a 1ml, of a 5% solution, right ?
so you actually want to deliver 0.05g, or 50mg of minoxidil per use (or per 1ml of solution) - to your sculp,
so if you cut the stuff by 3 you'd get about 16mg per 1ml, but when you use 3ml, like i do - you'd still be delivering 50mg of minoxidil to your sculp without wasting good stuf just to spread it.

questions are -

1 - is this logic true? i mean - will cutting the minoxidil like i said - would it still get me the desired effect ?
2 - is this pharma 70% 'rubbing alcohol' good to do the mix with ?
3 - if i use minoxidil foam 5%, still - 3 times the 'suggested ammount', than - switching to a 2% foam, and use it x3 would be the same as getting 1 dose of the 5% ?

any other suggestions insights anything else ?

4 - if not the alcohol - what would be the best thing to cut it with ? preferably something slightly creamy/oily.
5 - would water work ?
6 - would castor oil work ?

I am a fan of the liquid wax of jojoba, and I dont use minoxidil. Sorry
