does any one know how to clear the history of your searches on like google and yahoo? just because i have searched for hair loss stuff on it and all the words i typed have stayed there for months. and i dont want people that come over and want to use my computer to see what i am searching for. because if people think that i think that i am lossing my hair they will tend to look at it to see if i really am loosing hair. and that bugz.

thanx for help.... vodka on the rox

I am not sure how this works in netscape.. should be similar..
but in Internet Explorer, you need to click on Tools - Internet Options
Click on the Content Tab - Auto Complete Button. Make sure everything is unchecked. You might also want to to check the button that says clear forms and passwords..

this way, you get ur privacy and so does everyone else..

History

I totally hear you about the history thing. I'd also look into clearing the address bar from past sites you've visited, so that if someone types in "www.h" it won't pop up "www.hairlosstalk.com/discussions". In Internet explorer you have to go to Tools/Internet Options/Clear History (button).
