Its a dam right liberty that Dr's sit out there preying on those people who do not have the insight and/or personal fortitude to defy the pressure which comes at people to look a certain way including hair loss and baldness. Not only Dr's but commercial companies obviously offer products designed to meet our perceived 'needs' but the big difference with Dr's is that they normally charge what is for most people financially significant figures eg thousands not hundreds.
In some ways a deterrent limitation of £££ acts in our interest though it may often be bemoaned, but what happens when finances are not as limited as they were; do we take the step once out of reach ?
The rewards for not taking this step are money in OUR pockets but with the risk of social penalising with taunts, mocking, ostracising to name 3. But what are the risks if we do opt for significant medical help aside from money; obsession, herd psychology, personal diminishment ?
Winston Churchill has been the only bald UK prime minister in the last century, a man recognised for greatness and personal fortitude. I can't think of a bald US president and the list in Hollywood is vast of people who've had 'work done'. Facts are social stigma exists but its down to the individual to either perpetuate or defy ?
