I am relatively new to finasteride 1mg/day (8 months now), even though I use regaine for 10 years now which has given me perfect stability but none regrowth. I have already done 2 hair transplants and I am around nw2 now.
After 8 months on finasteride I cannot say I have seen any regrowth (well maybe a very slight unnoticeable one on the vertex). However I can say for sure that my hair look healthier (more shiny and manageable). I would like to ask how much time do I need to wait in order to see something more due to finasteride? Has anybody else witnessed a situation similar to mine? If I already have perfect stability due to regaine, and I am not going to get any regrowth due to finasteride, then I think is useless to continue it, even though my hair look healthier due to it. But how much time should I wait?
