8 month update on finasteride, my hairline is hurting

Half life of finasteride is like 6 hours so 2 days could impact you. If anything you could try .5mg a day. Similar weekly dose but with consistency.

It's possible I may only stabilize and maybe thicken the crown area which is often where regrowth is. If the hairline doesn't improve I might dab the foam on my hairline only. A lot more convenient.

Fair enough. The problem is I'm gonna be switching from the expensive 1mg version to the much much cheaper 5mg quartered version as I've managed to find it in my country. So there will be some logistical problems there . I'll just see if 4x a week will do the job and pray that it won't be too bad, because that same study showed a very very slight increase in dht between a 1 day pause and a 0 day pause.

I agree, the hairline is always the one that responds the slowest compared to the crown from what I've seen. Well, at least we can apply minoxidil easier at the hairline since we can see what we're doing without a mirror.
