8 month on propcia and still hair loss

you can consider switching to dutasteride and dropping finasteride, or adding topical spironolactone or a small amount of RU (which will be better than the spironolactone) to your current finasteride regimen to improve DHT suppression

Give it a full year, then like zzzzz said you can try dutasteride and RU. It took me over a year before I noticed that Propecia had stopped my hair loss and actually thickened my hair up. Even at 8 months I still think several of the DHT affected hairs are still going to be shedding out, it takes time. The hope is that when they grow back they will be stronger.
