It sounds like many people in this forum are in the ame boat I am. They're right around the 7 month point. My regimen in 1.25 proscar, 1 ml of minoxidil on the hairline, and 1 ml of folligen daily aswell as Nizoral every 3 days . I've been doing this religously since may. I am 24.
I was an Norwood 3 when I started and I still am. I actually have some areas of diffuse thinning that weren't there before my treatment began I hope they are only the results of a shed. It has been a roller coaster ride. I have had periods where my hair was really thin all over (about month 5 to 6) and now it's kinda gettin a little thicker. It's also healthier looking. There is a fair amount of vellous growth hugging my old hairline. This growth seems to grow and disappear and return.
If I look just right in the light I can see an NW2 hairline if I include the vellous hairs. Although it's not cosmetically noticeable I am confident that by may 2005 it will be.
I'll post again if I begin to achieve some serious results.
