6 Month Update on proscar

Hey guys, It's been six months....



Running my hands through my hair it feels very thin on the top but dense on the sides.
Don't want to shave my head and look like this

get on minoxidil, and apply it only to temples

i think you will get good regrowth seeing that you still have a strong hairline

during my experience (1.5 years on propecia), it helped thicken up everywhere, but didn't do much to the temple region. i've been on foam for almost 6 months and it's done it's job in regrowing and thickening the hairline.

Your hairline looks pretty damn good. Just looks the natural Norwood 2 shape.

After 12 months on finasteride, my hair has thickened but the hairline has stayed about the same. The small hairs at the front are still playing catchup with the longer hair.

the regions he his concerned about is no where near a Norwood 1 coverage

obviously he's thinning there and if he doesn't do anything about it, those thin regions will be gone and he WILL be a nw2/3.

Nah man, look at the shape of the temples. Classic Norwood 2, triangular recession. Not that Norwood 2 suggests anything more than just a mature hairline which 99% of guys get anyway.
