So I started on 0.5mg of Finasteride daily in October 2019 as I am receding and have thinning hair at the front of my head. I was noticing a bit of hair falling out when washing it and on my pillows.
I have not had any side effects in this time except watery seamen when I fist started taking Finasteride but it seems back to normal now.
I feel that I don’t have as many hairs falling out when washing my hair now but I have not noticed any improvement in my hair thickness and cannot tell if its any worse but I know 5 months is still early days.
I am wondering if I should have started on 1mg Finasteride daily instead.
Is anyone else taking 0.5mg a day that can share how they got on at the 5 month mark and so on?
