5% monixidil- 1 times a dayvs. 2 times a day- and SCALPMED

I wanted to know the following:

If i used to use 2% twice a day, I guess using 5% once a day would be equal or more so. I know that using 5% twice a day in combination with my finasteride had been awesome!!!! However, my scalp itches in certain times of the year, season changes for the most part due to dry skin. Has anyone reduced thier application from twice a day to once a day and did they see any negative results?

Also, does it really matter if you apply it with damp hair vs. dry hair to be more effective?

Lastly, has anyone ever used scalpmed and does it work? How about using a combination of nizoral, scalpmed, 5%minoxidil, and finasteride. I have had trasplants and my hair looks great but I want to trey to maintian it as much as possible. Thanks!

i USED SCALPMED FOR 1 YEAR AND YES IT WORKS!!! BUT THE ONLY ACTIVE INGREDIENT IN SCALPMED IS minoxidil 5% AND ITS VERY EXPENSIVE. i STOPPED AND JUST BOUGHT minoxidil 5% AT CVS ITS THE SAME MAN!!! DONT WASTE YOUR $$$$ ON SCALPMED JUST GO UP TO 5% AND MAYBE TRY THE NEW Revita shampoo its alot milder on your scalp and you can use it every day without drying out your hair like the nizoral, if you have not tried the 5% rogaine foam,ive heard from others that its not as bad as the droppler solution. I have also heard of guys just using the minoxidil once a day and it worked for them,but I use it twice a day myself
