5% minoxidil from Rite Aid

Anyone use Rite Aid's generic 5% minoxidil? I just swtiched to it from Rogaine 5% and am having trouble opening it. It's very awkward compared to the Rogaine bottles - am I missing something - am I supposed to tear something off or break it off? i can get it open but it seems like a real hassle b/c of that plastic thingy under the cap.

I noticed that too. Just gotta deal with it I guess. I use Kirkland brand now. I'll never go back to Rogaine again

try pushing it down hard and then turning the cap

If memory serves, the dropper has a kinda turtle-neckish plastic collar around it. You gotta squeeze the collar and twist at the same time (counter-clockwise). The outer collar has to grip the dropper good.

I started with 2% rite aid minoxidil 'bout a year ago and I think that's how it's set-up.
