Hey,

This is specific to all of us guys. I'm just wondering how many people get their 5-10 servings of fruits or vegetables daily?

Overall, I do not think I get close to that daily. I'm sure there are numerous benefits to getting your 5-10 servings yet I'm assuming so many people don't.

Recently, I heard a commerical on the radio that was specific to males and eating 5-10 servings daily. It caught be off guard because usually all those kinds of commercials are specifically targeted towards females.

So, does anyone get their 5-10 a day and if so, how do you do it and do you see/feel the benefits?

I guess my morning OJ counts as 1 serving...?

I probably eat 4-5 servings per day. It's not too hard, what makes it easy buying dried fruits/nuts like apricots, roasted almonds or soynuts, prunes and cranberries and snack on them in between meals, and have a fruitbowl always stocked with bananas and apples/pears/oranges. As for benefits? I'm extremly "regular" on the can, i rarely get sick, but i've been eating like this for years so i forget what its like to eat garbage constantly(fast foods, and empty calorie foods). I work out also, and do the whole protein/creatine/glutamine/multivit supplement regime. but i do noticed when I splurge on occasion and do the whole beer, nacho, and wings thing, i get tired and bloated for a few days afterwards!
