Hi everyone! Longtime lurker, 1st time poster. Used Propecia for about 6 months, then switched to generic and cut up into fourths. I stopped using it about three months ago. I felt that while it may have helped, the sides got to be too much and I gave up on it.
I'm now on my 4th day of Rogaine foam (first time user), and I have to say, it's been great to use! I tried the liquid one time months ago and HATED it. I hated how it made my hair look...all greasy and matted. The foam dries quickly, and it seems to thicken my hair a bit. I have mostly frontal thinning, so I'm hoping the foam will help with that. I have had NO issues with the foam turning into liquid before applying. It keeps it shape perfectly fine in my hands. For me, a half a capful is almost too much, as I find myself going over the same areas more than once. I guess my thinning isn't as bad as some others. If you've been thinking about trying the foam, do it! You'll never use liquid again.
So, question. Anything else I should be trying? I have non-prescription Nizoral (1%) that I use every few days, but other than that right now it's just Rogaine foam. Thanks!!
