48 Years Old Is There Hope Or Did I Wait Too Long?

Hey all! I am 48 years old and I had a full head of hair up to my 40's and noticed over the last 7-8 years a receding hairline and crown loss. It never bugged me much because I would just always throw on a cap when leaving the house.

I am wondering if I go the Finasteride, minoxidil route what is a realistic expectation? I have read a lot about Finasteride side effects and figure if I get any I will just quit it and deal with continued loss.

Also I saw somewhere on this site that talked about using Finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral? I am looking for a guide that tells me how to get the best results using these products.

If I am just starting all this what is the best non-surgical route to go, is there something better than those 3 products?

Finasteride once a day. Minoxidil twice a day and nizoral when you wash your hair. It should thicken your hair alot. You still have hair on your crown which is good. With realistic expectations you can get some good results.

Thank you for the reply. Do I use the minoxidil only on my crown or all over the thinning areas?

Any areas that you suspect are thinning, but definitely the crown. Once in the morning and night.
