Hi. I have been experiencing hair loss since I was in my mid-20s. It's reach a point where my hair loss is pretty severe and basically I've either gotta get a hair transplant or shave my head. I've been using minoxidil twice daily but not finasteride due to previously experiencing severe side effects while taking the medication.
Where should I start the search for surgeons? How do I know if a surgeon can be trusted / has a good reputation? What is the rough cost per graft in USA vs. Turkey? Are the quality of the surgeons in Turkey as good as the ones in USA? Are there any other disadvantages to doing it in Turkey?
I live in NYC and I am looking at FUE.
