I have been on here a while and never really posted much about my story.
I'm currently 32 years old and have been concerned about hair loss since about 14/15.
Genetics arent too good on fathers side, mothers side is better for hair, just general recession , mothers mothers (my grandma) genetics are the best - thick black hair that went grey early but the males all had good heads just nw2 recession. Jury is out on weather I have inherited their hair but I guess certainly got the premature grey genetics which in this case would be good!
Hair loss has always been a concern for me and I have struggled with self esteem on being able to post pictures on here but today I finally thought id give it a try.
Currently use : finasteride 1mg , lipogaine topical minoxidil, lipogaine shampoo (with Ketoconazole) , turmeric and also 1000mg pumpkin seed oil.
Shedding has its ups and downs- generally since the regimen I noticed way less hairs about but some days are worse than others. Havent noticed a change in hairline since 18 years old and hoping to be able to maintain what I have and will be happy with that.
Hopefully I can encourage others too as this community aside from negativity here and there I think is a great thing.
