3 months on rogaine liquid

well ive been using the liquid twice a day for just over 3 months. nothing drastic to note---i have lost ground in the areas ive applied it though in some parts i can see small hairs growing up in placeof the old ones. in your experience how long will they take to sprout up because im wary on the package it says results will be eveident between 3-4 months

ive been on rogain for more than four months and its completely messed up my hairline, ive lost alot of ground in the places ive applied it to, i lost ground when i started using it and more when i switched from spraying it to applying it with a dropper. im now only using it once a day and hope so much everything will grow back.
