Hi guys I posted a few pictures a few weeks ago after going to see someone with an invest interest regarding baldness they told me I had male pattern baldness and that I should join up and use their products (Ash and Martin). I am not that stupid and I wan't as many peoples input before I make a decision.

My other pictures many people said my hair was very greasy, and it was really bad. These pictures below are after waking up the night before I use Nizoral Shampoo which has left my hair without grease this time.

Firstly the first picture shows how my scalp is Odly shaped (sloped downwards) For some reason I have been thinking this might have something to do with why my crown looks larger than usual, what do you guys reckon?

1st Pic - Odd shaped Skull

I'd say very early stages. Maybe try Nizoral every 3rd day (leave on scalp for 5 minutes) and see if it has any effect. If not go onto Rogaine and Propecia. You're lucky you caught it early.

No and stop making fun of us
:nono:

Please please don't think I am trying to make fun guys I have been so depressed for the last few weeks every thought was about my hairloss. I really genuinely want to know if this is early male pattern baldness or if its just the way my skull it.

I am sorry and I only tried to make sure I had clean hair for these shoots sorry for the second thread.

And to the other poster. I have been using Nizoral I use to have bad dandruf around the crown since I have been using it it has reduced heaps and my dandruf is gone which means I have stopped picking at it!

hey man

relax, dont worry about anyone thinking you are making fun, everyone reacts differently to hairloss ,be it minimal or aggressive or whatever

to me it doesnt look like you have anything to worry about, keep an eye on it closely and if you see any miniaturisation then jump on propecia.

you still have a lot of hair so really ,try and not care too much right now ,just enjoy what ya have and try and see if it looks any different in 6 months :)

and oh yea you dont have a weird skull shape either, fits well into the range of human heads!

1) whats your family history?
2) Did you have hair there to begin with and are there tiny miniaturized hairs there?

Some people probably ask if they are going bald in spots where they never even had hair just because there is no hair there. If you had dense hair in the crown where that spot is showing and now there is none then I would safely say you lost hair and could be going bald.

Well basically all my uncles have a full head of hair in their 40's my dad began loosing hair in his 40 though and my granddad (dads side) is pretty much bald in his 80's however all his sons (my uncles) have full head of hair apart from my dad who began loosing in his late 30's.

Mothers side my granddad had a full head of hair until he died unfortunately in his sixties. All his sons (my uncles) have a full head of hair until today which is in their late 30's. What do you think? It's pretty much just my dad and my fathers dad who had hair problems HOWEVER my dad had severe and I kid you not, severe dandruff which may have played a part? He still had hair in his 40 however it wasn't as thick....

Regarding shedding - From what I can notice it seems normal. Every second sweep through my hair I get one to two strands coming out from the back and sides pretty much whereever I sweep my fingers through I get a strand on every second or third 'sweep'. However in the showers I get upto and over 30 Strands from shampooing (since I leave my Nizoral on for 5minutes and massage a scalp I get a good indication of the amount of hair lost during showering).

I went to my doctor it was the very first thing I did about 2 Months ago, He personally did not think I was loosing hair and went around with his fingers and pulled hair and did not seem to find one strand to come out however during that particular week I was getting one or two strands each time I would sweep my hand through the back of my head, mostly coming from the back of my head which got my worried. Since than I seem to be loosing only a strand every 2nd to 3rd sweep (as said above). He did however suggest I go to 'specialist' Ashley and Martin what a joke that turned out me someone with an Invested interest in your case is a bad way to go get diagnosed!

Dude thats like a natural part in your hair. Everyone has that! Even women. Check out the back of asian womens heads (pale skin asian) they all look like they are suffering from crown hairloss when in reality its just how their hair parts and the contrast of hair to scalp (black to white) makes it more obvious as it does in your case.

But having said that no one knows your hair better than yourself. As Doctorhouse has said continue to monitor it and the momeny you feel its the real deal (you will know) jump on propecia.

But you're far from balding. You have a good head of hair. You should be proud :)
