28, started male pattern baldness a few yrs ago, saw a picture of my head recently that scared me right into the dr's office (bald spot in full gear now) took my second pill this morning, kind of scary that 1 pill got my right nut aching so badly, I mean its not intolerable pain, more like annoying. if it stays like this I think I can tolerate it but if it gets worse I dont think I can hang.

I took a few pics the other day for future comparison but I think I might shave my head (crew cut not shiny bald) just because that shedding business sounds scary and I think I might look good with a shaved head (have a good shape to my head) and I figure if I shave it now and let it grow back in 5 months later results will be more visible because I havent been looking at it.

anyway, Great site, glad I found it.

So all this while you were just lying that 15 months into your regimen and never had any side effect or shedding! :freaked:

I have mentioned this before, I would not consider an occasional mild ache (5 or 10 minutes every few days) in my mannutsâ„¢ that dissapeared after a couple of weeks, a side effect worth mentioning.

Certainly not a serious side effect.

And it is true I have never experienced a finasteride induced shed.

chode, the pain should subside after your body has had a chance to adjust to the treatment. give it time and good luck!

yes i remeber falling asleep one night about one month into treatment and my testicle started to ache a little. not exruciating pain, but enough to keep me from fallin asleep. It went away in about 5 mins, and only happened once since then.
