28 Yo Male Finasteride + Minoxidil Treatment

Hi guys, i'm starting my treatment with Finasteride 1 mg per day and Minoxidil 1 ml x 2 per day.

I started losing hair when I was 17, i'm 28 years old now. I have been on Minoxidil for 1-2 weeks.

I've already started experiencing shedding. But I now this is part of the process, so i'm fine with it.

My hope is to get a thicker hairline and top crown. But i'll be happy with just stop losing my hair.

I've uploaded some photos of my hair today. I'll be updating the thread with new photos every month.

Any advice is appreciated. I'm not living in the states but if you have any good advice, i'll try find it in my country.

I think you picked a great time to get on Finasteride - you took action before it was too late and your hair still looks fairly good, given that you're about to be 30. Even if finasteride only maintains your hair and doesn't necessarily regrow it, you'll still be in a good position, Minoxidil should help sure up gains though. Your crown doesn't look like it's thinning that bad if at all, so that should be an easy fight to thicken.

Please do post updates - it ought to be interesting to see how treatment works for you, I'm hoping for the best.

Yes still good hair! And you start medication now, i think theres a good chance that you can thicken it up in the next 12-24 month. And maintain for many years

If you only lost this much hair during 11 years that's a succes story already without any treatments
