I first noticed how much my hair had thinned in April 2018 at the age of 27. It was actually a friend who pointed it out. I remember standing in front of a mirror a few days after and noticing the extend to which my hair had thinned. I will never forget looking at the areil photos I took with my phone and how the sickening feeling hit me. For 3 weeks after I hardly thought of anything else. Every piece of glass or mirror or shop window I passed I would be checking my hair. I would sometimes get up at night and check "how bad" it was in the mirror-and of course it looked better in some mirrors than in others. I would look at other peoples' hair in the street and wonder would mine follow the same shedding pattern. I read every blog post online and I was determined to fix it asap. I went to a hair loss clinic to inquire about medication and was put at ease straight away. They took pictures of my head from various angles and talked me through the medication. The medication-Minoxidil Finasteride ketoconazole is used by many many people it would seem. What I particularly liked was how the consultant put me at ease. He told me that most people he sees walked down the same path of stress and anxiety due to their hair loss and this is completely normal. I vowed to give the products a try and to be positive-if they work for other then I have no reason to think they won't for me. Its hard to say how much they have worked as I am using my camera phone to take a pic each month but they have definately had a positive effect. I have taken a picture every month which I will post here. I have my follow up consultation on June and I am excited about seeing the side by side HD photos.
