Hi.
My hair has always been rather little dense and extremely soft, it's probably genetic.
The thing I am concerned is the hairline. It was much better say 5 years ago. It's receding slowly since then. I drawn a line to show where it was when I was 22.

The question is whether it might be better to start treating it pharmacologically or not to treat and do a transplantation in few years to restore the hairline.
By treating I mean finasteride (that physician advice). I'm not really keen on it since it's side effects and low probablility of completely restoring the lost hairline.

I'm looking forward to hearing any advice.

Well, at 27 I'd say its looking pretty good! I have the same hairline and I'm a few years
younger than you :/

My advice is to get on finasteride for a year and see how yourhair responds. 30-35 is a good age for a first
transplant so in a few years you can go down that route

If you intend to get a transplant eventually you need to use finasteride ASAP to prevent your hairloss progressing further.

Hey Kirby, curious about that.. Why would he need to start using finasteride ASAP if he was to get a transplant in the future. I think he thought of one as an alternative to the other - and, that's what I thought too.

You don't have donor area, forget the hair transplant. Like Kirby said get yourself checked, it could be some issue not related purely with male pattern baldness.

hair transplant's now are bul****, you don't have enough hair to make it look normal, only when this hair cloning technique will come out we could really restore hair
