27 on finasteride for 2.5 months. Hair getting worse

Idk, I might have actually fucked it up and cut too much off on the sides. I cut my own hair. I hate going to the barbers so much, haven't been since before covid.

I havent been to a barber since age 15 or so. Im 37 now. So I get what u mean.

Haha yeah same. It's like polishing a turd. I want to fade mine but it's virtually impossible doing it yourself.

I only stopped it for 5 days, I don't think that's long enough for me to lose ground. I'm losing hair on the sides of my head.

This just looks maybe like mild retrograde alopecia. Lots of men have it as they age and don’t even realize it. I have it myself and also on the nape. Oral min has improved the situation though.

Oral min doesn't look like it's done much apart from thicken my eyebrows. I've been on dutasteride for 11 months, it looks like it's stabilized the loss at least.

I've had this thinning on the sides since at least 2018, that's when I first noticed it. It's gotten slightly worse over the past 7 years.
