You could try a dietary approach which attempts to tame the stress hormones implicated in hairloss

but the ebook is useful because it explains the diet in terms of hairloss (the diet recommendations weren't intended for that use originally).
If not, then starting slow with finasteride and titrating up like others have suggesed is a wise move.
