26 And Vertex Thinning / Balding. Freaking Out

Always had thick hair but grandfather on mother’s side has male pattern baldness and his brother went bald as well. Started noticing thinning on the crown when a friend pointed out I should take a look at it.
Went to a derm and she said I wasn’t balding but maybe had some thinning due to anemia (I was very anemic for a few months but have been taking iron). I’ll upload some photos. Seriously considering starting rogaine or jumping into propecia but worried about libido side effects and don’t know a whole lot else about it. Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.

Post some more pictures. Although a little wide, it may just be your normal cowlick/part. My hair looks like that sometimes if I comb it weird and my crown isn't thinning.
