Up until the past year, I've had no worries about recession at all, as I have extremely (annoyingly) thick hair, much like my mother's side of the family.
anyway I've started noticing some slight recession in my hairline over the past year, and I'm worried it may be leading to worse. In a slight panic I've already ordered some finasteride and I'm ready to get started, at least on a small dose to stop any further loss.
I've had some mild scalp psoriasis for a long while (hence the redness) but with the current pandemic it's been difficult to see my doctor. Should I hold off on taking anything and try my best to see a dermatologist or would I be better to start taking finasteride now and prevent any further hairline loss?
