So I started balding when I was 19, I have progressed rapidly to a Norwood-4 at age 25.

If I was to consider a hair transplant I realize that I must start finasteride, as my continued hairless would definitively lead to me having devils horns, the hair loss between my transplanted hair and old native horseshoe of good hair.

So my question is how do people feel about young people starting finasteride, as I could be looking at 40 years of this drug.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The photo is under harsh lighting, but I see that you still have good amount of thin hairs. If you are lucky, finasteride + minoxidil could give you godd success.

That's a question that only you can answer for yourself. Are you willing to spend an extra 30-90 seconds a day for the rest of your life to keep some hair on your head?

For me, it's a no brainer. That's like saying "Are you willing to spend an extra 5 minutes a day for the rest of your life showering so that you don't smell horrible?" Yes. Of course I am!

nothing. i just take the pill every morning and that's about it.

since its likely lots of your hair follicles are still alive (as its only been 6 years); i think the big 3 could work very well for u.
