Hey guys so this is my first post on the forum or any hair loss related forum. Just wanted to say to everyone on here keep up the good work the results looks great! Okay so im 25 years old and I look to be about a NWII-III, my hair loss started around the age of 20. I had the most beautiful girlfriend in the world for 5 years and she made my hair loss really easy to deal with, recently we broke up and my confidence is now rock bottom. (because of my hair) Looking to stop my receding hair line, and if I can get a little bit of it back than great

Anyways thats a bit of my background, so here are my questions:

I haven't had any blood work done is it really necessary?
I plan on using finasteride (generic) any thoughts? Or would looking into other options just be a waste of time?
I also plan on using minoxidil 5%, any suggestions on a generic brand? and foam or spray?
I plan on using nizoral shampoo, how often do you guys use it?

Also where do you guys order your pills from? I'm located in Canada, and want to get a legit drugs.

Couple things I was also looking at:
tretinoin cream/gel used along side of minoxidil have any extra benefits?
What do you guys think of taking saw palmetto?

I also quit smoking a week ago, didn't do it for hair loss but with extra blood flow over time has anyone heard of that helping regrow hair?

Thanks again everyone :)

Yes. finasteride is a must. Receeding hair lines is classic Male Pattern Baldness. So no blood tests are needed. As for min, the Kirkland8O stuff is the cheapest and works the same as brand name Rogaine.

Just pop finasteride, use Min 2x a day for at least a year and then add unproven stuff.

Inhouse Pharmacy has finasteride and nizoral 2%. Kirkland min is on amazon and sold at Costco.

They just did a study recently I read on ordering from online pharmacies. Contrary to what everyone on here will tell you I assure you that your chances of getting an altered or fake pill in a shipment is not as low as you think. You can not look at the package or pill and tell you just cant the guys making them arent stupid.
More embarassing or costly buying from brick and mortar pharmacy? Sure better chance of it being legit and safe? Sure. Your choice though.
