24- receding and thinning hair

Hi.

Well I guess I'm still quite young (24) and my hair isn't in terrible shape, but I've noticed my hairline has gone into a sharper v shape (I always had a widows peak, but now it's stronger) and whenever I come under harsh light it appears (to me) to be thinner on top. Also I notice hair on pillows and each morning as I put gel into my hair a half dozen hairs will fall out, after a shower I guess it's maybe 20 that will be on the towel after I dry my hair. I do know it's natural to lose hair- don't know if that is usual or something to be worried about. Hair also just seems thinner to me and I know if I run my fingers throughly through my hair at least a dozen hairs will fall onto my hand...

In terms of family background, one of my uncles is bald the other 4 have reasonable heads of hair. My father had decent hair until his 50's though my mother has always struggled with thinning hair. One of my brothers is going bald quite fast (less hair than me at 24) and the other one has not gone bald. Both grandfather died when I was a kid, one had hair one was bald. My appearance is in beween that of my brothers and but I look more like my mother (who has hair issues).

Here are some pics- think I look ok with soft lighting, but one I turn the flash on my phone... it's not so pretty.... Last image below shows a front view of me at 19, you'll see that I never had the perfect straight hairline but I think there was less of an effort to manage my style and definitely my hair seemed thicker.

Ok so my first question is, should I be addressing this yet? I know that this is a pretty early stage, but prevention is better than cure- I figure.
