Hi, recently I've noticed that hair on a patch of my scalp near the front (close to where I part my hair) has thinned out by quite a lot, and the scalp is visible under light. I usually get my hair cut short and pretty often, so this would've been obvious before: I feel like this happened within the span of a month or so. The hair over there feels finer than that from the rest of my head. Also I've been noticing more than usual shedding of hair when I am showering/styling, and the strands that come off seem to have a white tip at the end (root). I am currently on travel so I won't be able to see a dermatologist until perhaps next month, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what it could be? Here's a picture where I deliberately parted the hair to show the sparsity, normally it's not that visible.

Thank you!
