So here is my situation.

For the past year and a half I have been dyeing my hair from premature greying. I've used permanent dye multiple times, semi permanent dye and hair colour stripper.

I've also had oily, itchy red lumps and a dry scalp since I was 15 that has never been serious enough to treat, but it is annoying.

In this time period of hair shedding I have noticed gradual thinning of my hair, some months worse than others...this month though feels thinner than ever.

The only problem being I have a full blown juvenile hairline which has absolutely no recession since I started noticing this. The front of my hair is a thick straight line across my head. I'm still losing hair there but i have seen no minituarisation , just healthy thick hairs with white bulbs...

My crown and the sides and actual back of my head are the worst...I have a double crown so it looks worse than it actually is, but it feels as if I'm losing hair at such a rapid pace, maybe 200 a day...

I haven't seen any thin hairs lost, just healthy looking hairs? And my main concern is why hasn' my hairline receded in the slightest over this time frame?

Okay so here at pictures, I'm probably I'm denial, you're probably going to say balding - but why no hairline recession what so ever over a year and a half?

You need to post pictures of the affected areas. However dying your hair is the worst thing you can do to your follicles because hair dyes generally contain ammonia.

From experience I can say that dying my hair and having it permed has definitely changed the structure, density and general feel of my hair.

As I had a super tight perm, the rods used actually ripped hair out of my head. It was brutal.
