Hi Guys,

23yo university student down here in Australia. Ive been suffering from hairloss since i was 19yo but unfortunately have been pretending it wasnt an issue.

After googling some infomation on hairloss, I stumbled onto this website and was very happy to find such a large database and community who know the struggles with hairloss.

So far ive done some reading and got my hands on the following

Rogaine extra strength foam
Nizoral Shampoo
Propecia Finpecia

ive only been on this regimen for a few months so i dont expect much, however looking at other members it seems that i have lost quite a considerable amount of hair.

Below are some pictures

My question is,
Is it to late for me to rely on regrowing hair and maybe consider a transplant? or should i see it through for a few years?

Any help greatly appreciated.

you have done the right thing by getting on the big3 I would give the treatments at least a year before considering a hair transplant.
The meds should at least stop or slow the progression. Regrowth of the hairline is pretty rare but it can happen.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Spanishlad. Do you think its worthwhile getting hair transplant for the temples or to fix the hairline? or are the costs involved for such a small section not worth it?
