Hello guys, posting here to see opinions:

This was my hair in Nov 2025

Then I had an episode of Seborreic Dermatitis and Scabs last month, lasted around 2 to 3 weeks... and it has left me like this

I don't know how this is even possible. Everyone tells me that permanent hairloss cannot occur that quick unless something very serious happened, but the look of my scalp is terrifying... I'm really skeptical about recovery....

And I do suffer from Androgenetic Alopecia but it's mild and manageable with treatment - or used to.

So this should be temporary since you addressed the Seborrheic Dermatitis. It is going to be months before you see growth so just relax and keep up with your other treatments.

Bro turned from Chad to Pedo in 2 weeks...
Fair assessment lol. I also have a bald patch on both wrists, completely smooth. Idk wtf is happening to me.

Do you believe it will grow back? Any opinion on how this could happen within 2 weeks? I cannot find a report like mine unless someone was taking chemotherapy drugs....

I would say honestly, it would be fine to take minoxidil because at the very least it should accelerate the growth process. And if it’s not coming back or if it’s truly permanent hair loss, then I would say the next step is finasteride.

Finasteride would work for Androgenetic Alopecia, which I have but mild... It seems that a case like this hasn't been seen even on this forum. I read that it could be anagen effluvium and that at first it's normal to have fuzz, but I believe that after 3 weeks I should see at least a buzzcut-like shadow? I don't see that. It's frustrating because it all happened so fast that I didn't even have time to do much. In those 2 weeks I never noticed anything to freak out really...

So the forum's advice is take minoxidil/ finasteride and pray.

Do I look like I have developed frontal fibrosis?
Should I do microneedling?

DMSO+rosemary oil to remove fibrosis. Im gonna add that to my finasteride+min regimen. Also adding argan oil for the fatty acids. Following a taiwan study. But you sir are young and dont have severe balding so you barely have any fibrosis. Get on oral finasteride+min. I use both orally.
