Thanks for the replies everyone.

I'm going to shave my hair off completely in the next few weeks to see how my hairline truly is. I will when update this thread with pictures.

I will also start taking the thyme oil and I've also looked into Biotin. However I will discuss the minoxidil with my Doctor first, as I'm worried about the hair loss it may cause, and the level of certainty that my hair will definitely grow back.

Lastly, does anyone else have any recommendations or ideas? I'm trying to find more photos from 1-4 years ago to see if my hairline has always been like this, I have a feeling it did, albeit it's a bit thinner now due to the scalp Evzema and face Eczema, but hopefully the shaved head will tell us something.

Good luck mate, remember to pictures often! Also you should consider experimenting with a laser comb with T/Gel shampoo or Argain Oil for your hairline.

T/Gel vs Nizoral, which one is more effective is highly debated, but T/Gel shampoo was used in clinical studies of Finasteride.

UV rays are beneficial for hair follicles, combining that with either Argan Oil or T/Gel can improve absorption greatly.

Always consolidate with your Doctor beforehand.

I'll stick with the Nizoral for a few more weeks, as I think It says not to use it for more than 3 to 4 weeks. I should shave my hair off just before I come off the Nizoral, I'll post some pics then.

I'll then try the coal tar shampoo for another few weeks. That should take me to around the start of September, at which point my hair should be grown back and I will post more pics.

If I forget to, please PM me, it's linked to my email.

Laser comb sounds a bit out of my price budget, I'm a student, however for my eczema I have stood in front of UV lights, which I think helped my skin a bit. I can ask to do that again? Is it worth it you think?

Also, this is a bit of a weird thing but I have NEVER combed my hair in my life. I just wash it daily and let it naturally air dry. Is this good? Should I start combing?

Remember to post pics when straight you shave your head off for baselind. And, combing is generally good to keep the hair healthy and possibly circulate blood better on the scalp

Will do. Although this will be in a few weeks at least, as I need to minimise people seeing me haha

Hi Guys, OP here.

I haven't shaved my head yet, however I have found two pictures from around 5 years ago which kind of support my hypothesis that my right side was always a bit more recessed.

If you look at the first picture where I have headphones, look at how my hairline isn't straight there either and is going back at an angle, I will try and find the original larger sized image.

Secondly, the picture with the massive owl, look at how the right side of my hairline is more angular then the left, I think it's pretty much the same as it is today.

Both these pictures are from 2010.

Please have a look at these and tell me how they compare to pics from page one that I took a few weeks ago.

Thanks for all your help everyone

EDIT: Anyone know why the pictures come out so small? They're quite large on my computer.
