Hey all
Sorry for yet another thread, I can only imagine you guys get loads of these.
Anyhow I am a 23 year old male. I've never had any worries or problems about my hair before, however since the age of about 19/20, I got a sudden extreme bout of Eczema, which spread really
badly over my face, body and even scalp (seborrheic Eczema) - Therefore I had patches of hair missing all over my head due to where I scratched, however my doctors advised me that the hair would regrow, and thankfully it pretty much did there. I've now been eczema free for about 4 to 5 months and my small hair patches are filling up (I think the Doctor said I had alopecia).
I also used shedloads of Nizoral for my eczema, which I think people on here use anyway, but I haven't used any in about 6 months.
Anyhow, as you can see from the pics, I feel as though now my RIGHT temple/side is slightly more recessed then my left one. I do remember having eczema on my temples, quite badly actually, so I
wanted to ask is this due to the eczema or am I going bald?
I've also attached some pics from 4 years ago (I don't have many pics in-between due to the eczema, as I didn't really take a lot of pics), which hopefully show my hairline. I've always had a bit
of a weird head shape/hairline, my friends have even said this to me, however do you think my right temple hairline has always been the way it is? I've never really checked before as I was more worried
about eczema, however from some closeup pics I've found, it seems to me that my right temple of my head does actually have a slightly more receding/anglular hairline then my left, which is straighter, as you can see from the extra pics.
Also, as I said I have used Nizoral quite a lot, should I go back on it? It made my hair feel dry so I kinda stopped using it. I've also used Apple cider vinegar in my hair to get rid of the eczema (which
thankfully it has) however, can this cause balding issues?
I'm worried to go into see a private specialist as I'm worried they'll say I have big balding problems or something, in an effort to make money off me as I'm a gullible student, therefore I wanted
to get some other opinions first. Is it possible to fill in the right side of my temple with some of the creams and shampoos I've briefly read about on here? Should I continue to use Nizoral and/or Apple cider vinegar? If so, only on the right side?
Lastly, how can I take measurements of my hair? As in if I take measurements of my hairline now, and then re-measure 6 months later, how can I tell if my temples are getting bigger/hairline receding, accurately?
If you need more pics I can take some more.
Thanks!
