Hi all. So I'm pretty certain over the past 4-5 months I've started receding at my temples and thinning across my hairline and I've decided now is the time to start doing something about it, as the thought of losing my hair throughout my twenties is pretty damn scary. Here are some pics:

I've always had a fairly high and uneven hairline but it's pretty clear it's moved back a bit at the temples, particularly on my left side. I wear my hair quite messy so it's not too difficult to disguise, though it is progressively getting slightly more noticeable. What's bothering me most is the thinning, particularly as it seems uneven. In a couple of the pictures it's clear there's a spot further towards the right side near my cowlick where the hair is thinner compared to over the left side. This is also pretty apparent when I comb my hair down. Is this kind of thinning normal?

Away from my hairline everything seems ok elsewhere, I don't think I've lost much if any on the crown and my hair is still pretty thick on top, much more so than around my hairline (as you can see in one of the pics where I've parted it).

From various research I've done it seems the 'big 3' is what most recommend to combat balding. I've purchased some Kirkland Minoxidil 5% foam and Nizoral 2% online and after much thought have decided I'm willing to start taking Finasteride. Is it worth seeing a GP to get a prescription? I've looked at various online pharmacies and I've yet to find any cheaper than around £200 for less than half a years supply. Any suggestions as to what the best option is for obtaining finasteride in the UK?

Thanks in advance.
