so in 2016 i noticed that my thick hair became very flat and thin. I thought it might return back after a haircut but after few months waiting my to grow back it was thin again. im now 22. I Im currently using vitamins pills for the last 2 months and just started using L'Oréal elvive hair thickening shampoo. Will that help restore my hair back to it its thick original condition? If not, what else can i do?

I use that shampoo and it is fantastic, but unfortunately does nothing for hairloss... Still balding.
@Switched Get on finasteride and minoxidil. Need more info? Google it.

but arent those for hair loss? I don't have hairloss problems. Just thinning hair which shows the scalp.i googled things hence why found about the shampoo and the vitamines but i wanted to hear from people directly. I dont see info about those medicines giving thicker hair

You do realise hair thinning IS hair loss? Your hair will keep thinning and thinning until it doesn't grow anymore. I'm sorry but your lack of knowledge and common sense here hurts my brain. You can use thickening shampoos and pop vitamins all you like but you will end up bald as bald can get. Thinning Hair in early 20s is aggressive male pattern baldness.

consult a dermatologist or someone who specializes in hairloss, read up on finasteride side effects, then take your chances and pop the pill as its the only way currently to treat male pattern baldness

Mine was falling at 16. As an older dude now, I advise that you own it. Get some tattoos or invest in your education. Men and women will call you out if you “fix it”. What ever person or group that is the object of your effection or anxiety, let them go! Like I said I was 16 years old. The remedies are expensive and you should spend your coin on what really matters. Join a gym, learn an instrument or martial art. They will all have faults greater than you. If not, work on you not your hair cupcake.

I found several claims wrong with this post:

1. Men and women will call you out if you “fix it”
So what? Who are they to judge wether you want to treat your male pattern baldness? Lol

2. The remedies are expensive
$100-150/yearly ain't expensive at all.
