hey guys,
As I post this, I realize that I am taking the first step into admitting I have a hair loss problem :(. I have always had really fine hair, and over the past few months, Ive noticed that my hair seems to be getting thinner and thinner, to the point that it is a mix between normal hairs, and super fine, straw hairs. I have the sides of my head shaved and the back as well with the normal length hair parted to the side (comb over I guess, Just how I wear it, and I would like to get opinions on weather or not i can regrow some hair, and what the best course of action is for me at this point? I have attached some pictures. I live in ny, so i was thinking about buying a bottle of regenepure dr tomorrow from the pharmacy nearby that has it. I know its pricey, so will it help with the appearance/maintaining of my hair in the short term? also, is finasteride my only real hope. I don't think minoxidil will help too much since my hair is thin all over. sorry about the rant, and would really appreciate any/all input.

Bryan

hi Bryan. Nice hair you've got there! I am new here as well but just want to say that it's hard to tell from these pictures if you are losing hair. but I really hope you are just imagining things! your hair looks very thick to me!!

it looks like you have some serious problems, if I were you I'd get on duta, minoxidil, nizoral and do a hair transplant asap

he only asked for serious opinions, okay?

anyway bro, your hair looks good to me, keep watching it by taking photos like every 3 months if something changes for the worse, jump on finasteride. you know you hair the best so you are the best one to judge. you can of course take action by choosing the right shampoo i'd recommend nizoral or regenepure like you said.

take care and good luck.

hi there mine started in the same pattern at the crown when i was in my early 20's so from the latter pictures i would say early stages of male pattern baldness ,
if you want to start meds , its better to start early than later when more damage is done

good luck

If you posted pictures of your hairline as opposed to the top of your head it would be a big help ..... and I don't mean with your fringe/bangs draped over, pulled back so we can see the hairline.

You really need better lighting for those photos, like some sunlight. It looks like you are using your computer monitor as lighting, but I can still see some thinning in the crown area. Go see your Doctor.
