22 Year Old, Am I Going Bald Or Is This Just A Crazy Widow's Peak?

I've always had a widow's peak, going back I have almost the exact same hairline as 2 years ago, and when I was 18 it was a little bit lower. I read that it should be 1 cm above your highest wrinkle in the middle and 1.5-2 on the temples. I'm a little less than 1 in the middle and about 2 on the temples. I don't see any tiny hairs inside my hairline, but is it receding? I have a narrower head so maybe that's why it looks so curved.

Excuse the weird peeling, I had a sunburn.

Yes, it seems like receding a bit, but you still got thick hair tho

Sounds like male pattern baldness to me, you should go see a derm to confirm this and jump on the Big 3 to prevent further hair loss.

Yep you are on your way to NW3. Good thing though is you still have good density. Get on finasteride and Rogaine asap.

What are the chances that it's going to just stay like this since it's been this shape for a few years now?

Without treatments ? I don't know, it could be a slow progression and take you years to be fully bald.

But...one thing is sure, this won't magically stop. You said it yourself, your hairline was lower at 18, there is definetly a progression then and this is not supposed to happen.

Take our advice and go check your situation with a derm asap, don't wait or be in denial here, you'll regret it.

You're not a Norwood 3 you're a Norwood 2 "mature hairline". If your hairline was always that shape, it often matures in early 20s. You have no miniturization along the hairline which also indicates it's currently stable. You're fine but keep an eye on it. If you see a lot of hair falling out, on your laptop, in the shower, on your pillow, then get on finasteride. Minoxidil won't help you. You're still in good shape my dad has had that hairline his entire life.
