21yo - Thin Hair - Balding on front - Advice?

Hi,

So, I have had thin hair through out my life, however, only now I notice that the front of my head seems to be balding, or so it appears to me it is...

When I shower, no hair seems to come out or anything, so I am a bit confused, anyway, I was wanting to get my hair cut short again, but then I saw my hair's condition, and just wasn't sure what to do..

Am I best keeping it as is, or cutting it down, I just fear how it would turn out..

hi it looks like you are thinning. are you on any hair loss treatment yet? if not, check out Finasteride or Minoxidil. Maybe have a buzz cut or something?

Hi,

No, not taking any medication as of yet, got fixed feeling about them at the moment.

Yeah, I thought of buzz, but I wasn't sure what length would work, and a bit worried it would look inconsistent, or when it's cut like that does it all look the same?

I would go and talk to a barber first to see what sort of hair cut would suit you the best. I think a buzz cut is cutting all over the head to the same length and a crew cut is cutting shorter at sides and longer at top. cheers
