Firstly thank you for having a look at my post. I've been stressing about my hair loss all year except I haven't really done anything about it. I'd just like to maintain my current hair levels.
I have always had a 'cowlick'. I can remember being in primary school and the teacher noticing it. It seems obvious to me that my hair has definitely receded at the temples. I do have extremely thick, curly hair. Currently I am growing it out as long as possible.
I used to straighten my hair every day for a few years! I hated curly hair and had was very self conscious about it. This has probably damaged it but I don't know if it would cause this type of hair loss.
I get very anxious about my shedding. In the shower I always have hair in my hands and I believe I'm losing probably 100+ hairs a day.
I'm kind of in two minds. I don't really want to take drugs and all that **** all my life but I also would like to keep my current hair levels.
What would everyone recommend? Currently I am trying hair scalp exercises and I believe they are working somewhat. I do really believe the theory behind them.
Dad is bald but with some hair still hanging around the top. My grandfather is somewhat bald. Mothers side had great hairlines.
