Hi everyone,
I have only recently joined this site, but I have been reading it for a long time. I find all of your insight very helpful and therapeutic. Thank you so much.
I am a 21 year old college student. I am a division 1 athlete, so I can rule out stress, diet, and lack of exercise as my reasons for hair loss. I am very happy with the exception of balding at such a young age.
I am currently into my 7th month of brand name Propecia. I have been taking a half pill (.5 mg) daily along with nizoral 1% 2-3 times per week. My current lifestyle makes it near impossible to consistently take minoxidil.. but maybe I will add that once I graduate.
These are pictures from when I started treatment (January 2013)

Please take into account that I have a tan right now, which makes things appear better. Before looking at these pictures I though my hair may have improved slightly but now I am not so sure. Am I a lost cause? I am going to stick with my regime for awhile... but what is the best way to hide this kind of thinning in the meantime? I usually do #4 clippers on the sides and scissors on top.
Any advice on my regime, potential haircuts, how to stay positive, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all for your help
