21 cowlick frontal hairline or thining !??

I'm 21 since birth have had a cowlick on my hairline by the corner and recently maybe I've become more aware of it but I notice the side with the cowlick when the hair goes straight up it looks lighter the area and looks as if it has less hair than my other side paranoid idk what to do or what it is father has a full head of hair at 43 so those grandpa any way I can add photos c????
