Ive always had thin hair (flops around in the wind, see scalp easily, etc). I’ve also always had a pretty bad hairline and a crown. I don’t think my hairline has moved but I see hair fall when I mess with it. My dads bald and with my bad hairline and crown people have always assumed I’d go bald. My moms side of the family has great hair. My dad was completely bald by 22 and I’m 20 as I said. I’m looking for guidance on what to do to thicken and maintain hair and honestly confirmation on whether I’m going bald.

Also I’m an athlete so I was my hair every day because of being sweaty constantly. Should I consider changing this up?

Do you feel yourself losing more hair than you were a year ago? People end up on this forum most of the time because they feel a difference in their hair.

It's very hard for us to determine whether you're losing any hair as you say that your hairline and crown have always been weak, but your gut is probably right, also considering your fathers aggressive hairloss.

If you want some peace of mind for the next few years, hop on finasteride. I did the same when I turned 19 and now 4 years later am I having to come back and look at adding something on top of my current regime. Definitely worth the peace of mind - there are far more important things to be consumed by in your 20's!

Dude get in finasteride. You’re hair is great and if it gets worse you’re going to kick yourself in the *** for not getting on now. Trust me

I’m mostly troubled with how much hair comes out when I mess with it and how thin it is in general. Thanks.
