So, I've noticed that my hair has been thinning/receding somewhat this summer. I have recently lost a lot of weight over a span of time and haven't really been getting the nutrients and vitamins I was getting daily. So, my mom ( a nurse) thinks that my thinning hair is from that.
I've been taking Vitamin B12, Biotin, and Fish Oil everyday for the past week and a half. To my relief, they are really helping me out and baby hair is starting to form back on my receding hairline.
But, I have noticed that a lot more of my hair has been falling out in the shower. I don't know if this is normal after taking these vitamins or not. I know they are meant to retain hair, but I don't know if a lot of my hair is falling out for healthier hair to come in or if I'm just losing a lot of hair. (keep in mind, I'm having a lot of my hair grow back where it was receding)
Also, I believe that I lose more hair in the summertime, but that may just be myth. Anyone else have this experience or any suggestions (besides Rogain, Propecia, etc.)?
